Clinton Voters still skeptical of Obama for 2012

Jun 20, 2011 | 7 Comments

From The Daily Caller:
Though many Hillary Clinton supporters clenched their teeth and supported Barack Obama in 2008, many remain frustrated with the president’s failure to champion women’s issues and believe he should expect a lower turnout among women for his 2012 reelection.
“After 2008 [Clinton voters] were basically told get over it, and they haven’t gotten over it,” Amy Siskind, president of the feminist advocacy group The New Agenda, told The Daily Caller.

“In Obama’s coalition, women do not play as strong a role,” Lara Brown, assistant …

Jun 14, 2011 | 17 Comments

The New Agenda congratulates Congresswoman Michele Bachmann for her top notch performance in last night’s GOP Presidential Debate.  At the debate, Rep Bachmann announced her intention to run for president in 2012.
The New Agenda’s Amy Siskind said:  “We are pleased to see a very capable and qualified woman run for president in 2012.   We hope that more women will throw their hat into the ring in the coming months.
It is also our hope that the media will refrain from sexist treatment of Rep Bachmann, and be respectful of her …

Kevin Rogers was at the Nashville show and posted on his Facebook page …

PETITION: MSNBC Pres Griffin – immediately institute Corporate Governance on Sexism or Resign!

May 26, 2011 | 7 Comments

The following op-ed is featured at The Daily Caller.
On Tuesday, MSNBC host Ed Schultz referred to radio show host Laura Ingram as a “slut.”  In fact, the word flowed so effortlessly off his tongue, he referred to her as “slut” twice in two sentences!  Yesterday, Schultz made an on-air apology and took a self-imposed one week suspension without pay.
But, Schultz’s short work leave is hardly fodder for revelry.  Schultz is but an annoying gnat in the misogynistic cesspool that is MSNBC.   Under MSNBC President Phil Griffin, …
