In a New York Magazine article, Running for Grown-up, Jon Huntsman is quoted as saying about Michele Bachmann:
She makes for good copy – and good photography.
He also had this to say to Kathleen Parker in a Newsweek article in June after Bachmann’s top notch performance on the CNN debate:
When Michele carries the day, you know there’s an opening for a new guy.
Amy also speaks about the necessity of getting women involved in the ongoing budget debate, specifically the Super-Committee under formation, and the necessity of more women in leadership.

That is disappointing, I thought Huntsman was kind of an interesting candidate but he sounds like a typically oblivious male. I bet I wind up voting for the Americanselect.com candidate. I don’t have any faith in the Republicans nominating someone I can vote for.
Bachmann’s got my vote.
Well if Bachmann wins the nomination she has my vote too but I don’t see either of the major parties allowing a woman to win. Remember the corrupt Democrat primary of 2008? People voted for Hillary and the Democrat apparatchiks randomly ignored those elections and went with their corrupt caucuses. In Washington state we held a primary and they point blank told us they didn’t plan to honor it. I went to my Democratic caucus and it wasn’t like the other caucuses I had been to which were in peoples houses where you could recognize your neighbors. It was in a packed so you couldn’t move, loud so you couldn’t hear and hot elementary school and I only recognized 3 people who also seemed shell shocked like me. Both the Republicans and Dems only care about power and dogma. Neither care about women’s lives.
