TNA Lauds Oprah for Banning ‘bitch’ on Her Network

|The New Agenda joins other women’s groups in praising Oprah Winfrey for banning the word ‘bitch’ from her network.
In an article at The Daily Caller titled Feminists laud Oprah Winfrey for banning the word ‘bitch’ from new OWN television network, The New Agenda joined Women’s Media Center, Women in News and Media and blogger Shelby Knox.
The New Agenda’s Amy Siskind took it one step further, recalling Joy Behar’s use of the word on The View:
Amy Siskind, president and co-founder of the New Agenda, was thrilled about the news. “We are asking that other women in the media — maybe starting with Barbara Walters — on their shows, networks, blogs, websites, refrain from using that word in a demeaning way. That word and ‘whore.’”

Oprah rules foe this one! And this furthers the humiliation of Behar. Very big and wonderful news.
I know, I am a fool, but I have high hopes for OWN even though Oxygen is a pathetic sexist flop. Now if Oprah would just ban tit and asspirational ads it would be a good start to a profitable network. I like to see her ratings be triple those of any of the current”women’s content” channels run by media men and their female minions.
