|The New Agenda’s article in The Huffington Post, The Obama Old Boys Club — Does the White House Economic Team Have a Woman Problem? is once again making waves.
POLITICO first featured the story contents in an article speculating on why Christina Romer resigned as Council of Economic Advisors Chairwoman.
Today’s leading story at POLITICO reads: ‘Good ol’ boys’ in Warren’s way?. The New Agenda’s Amy Siskind had this to say:
“It’s a real issue, and I’m hoping that President Obama does the right thing and replaces Christina Romer with a woman and does appoint Elizabeth Warren because we’re really missing out on balance and our country is hurting,” said Amy Siskind, co-founder of a women’s group called The New Agenda. Siskind previously ran the trading department at Morgan Stanley and was the first female managing director at the investment firm Wasserstein Perella.
