The opinions expressed herein are those of the author, and not necessarily those of The New Agenda.

“Excuse the expression”? Sometimes, I wonder what the problem with Glenn Beck is. I think he knows his comments bother people, but he says “excuse the expression” to avoid an angry blacklash.

Why criticize Michelle Obama’s breasts at all? That comment is sexist.

The occasion for Beck’s comment was the state dinner in which Mexican President Filipe Calderon condemned the Arizona immigration bill. The Arizona immigration bill is a highly charged political topic, and this occasion could have sparked political criticism of Michelle Obama. Conservatives have plenty of harsh criticisms for the opposition to the Arizona immigration bill.

Of course, Beck can criticize Michelle Obama on her politics or actions. Perhaps he should read the blogs of conservative writers who know how to criticize based upon policy and personality without referring to body parts – Michelle Malkin comes first to mind. Malkin has plenty of negative things to say about the First Lady; yet not a single thing she said involves ridiculing women’s sex or appearance.

A conservative pundit can easily apply these harsh yet gender-neutral criticisms to Michelle Obama. Please, leave her breasts alone.

Criticizing Michelle Obama’s breasts crosses the line from fair political criticism into unjust sexism. In order to eliminate sexism in our country, we must defend all women regardless of our personal opinions.

I haven’t heard the entire episode, but it sounds to me as if he is criticizing her attire and not her breasts. She does spend a lot of money to dress in some of the most dreadful, and sometimes inappropriate attire. I guess it is a slow news day.

By the way, I congratulate TheNewAgenda on the push back on the ‘mere surgical nick or prick.’ Unfortunately, it took some digging to find the retraction on the APA site. NOW, NARAL, …, MSM are mum. Hmmmmm.

If this guy isnt sexist then i not know who is. Why isnt TNA defending Malia Obama like they did Bristol palin. I dont think Beck is critizing her based on wardrobe price because Sarah Palin did spend 10,000 grand on a wardrobe.

I hate when fellow TNAers defend this man simply because he is a fellow right wing nut job.

if this isnt sexual harassment then i dont know what is.

Beck is clearly a sexist. He rarely, if ever, has a female on his show. It’s all about the man’s perspective, about what great men have done and how it’s gonna take a great man to save this nation.

TNA needs to remind Beck that it was primarily men who have put our country in the mess it’s presently in and have been doing so since the inception of this country. He has real problems with accomplished, strong women and that showed big time during the primary and how horribly he treated Hillary. I remember how he lambasted her for tearing up in NH and saying “IT CRIES”.

This from a guy who tears up on almost every show! Yes, Beck is a sexist of the third kind.

I watch the Glenn Beck show as often as I can, because the investigative reporting is the kind of stuff that once received pulitzer awards back when main stream journalism was not controlled by George Soros and friends.
Is Beck sexist, I’d say probably yes, but he was making a comment about a first lady who has done a hell of alot more to promote misogyny in my country than Glenn Beck will ever do. Michelle Obama dresses inappropriately for a first lady. She and her terrorist loving husband along with the lost in space democrat party would gladly invite the ultra-misogynic Islamic culture as well as Shar-iah law into our nation. Beck has been fighting this trend along with others at Fox News. I stopped watching CNN and MSNBC because I respect myself too much as a woman to support the kind of misogyny the left has embrassed.
Glenn Beck is sexist, perhaps but sexism and misogyny are worlds apart and lately it is the left (were I formerly dwelled) that has embrassed a culture an ideology that will put womens rights (or human rights) on a par with those in Muslim counties.
