Sue Lowden, former Nevada GOP chair, is gaining momentum as she looks to unseat Senator Harry Reid this November. But first, she must win the Republican primary.
Politics Daily reporting:
In the Republican race, Lowden leads businessman and former college basketball star Danny Tarkanian by 45 percent to 27. Three other candidates poll 5 percent or less each and 16 percent are undecided. The margin of error is 6 points.
For the general election, Lowden leads Reid 46 percent to 38 percent with 5 percent for would-be Tea Party candidate Scott Ashjian, an asphalt contractor, and 11 percent undecided.

Go girl go…..
Although I live in Calif not Nevada, most people in the high desert have a major affinity for southern Nevada as we share the mojave desert. Will they put aside agendas and join with the forces that seek parity of gender in congress by nominating and electing Ms Lowden or will they vote for Harry again. Liberals this is to you especially important for you-for As my mother used to say, ” the proof of the pudding will be in the eatting.”
Those are some impressive poll numbers. Sexism is not so accepted or ingrained in the West. If Lowden is seen as the best person to represent Nevada she will likely get voted into the job. It really isn’t The People who have a problem with women in government. It is the little men at the top of both political parties although they like to blame it on us.
