15 Recess Appointments for President Obama

Jeffrey, Michael M., Eric, Michael P., Frank, Islam, Alan, Rafael, Craig, Mark, and David. These are the list of the names of 11 out of the 15 Recess Appointments made by President Obama. Excuse me while I yawn because the list seems pretty unremarkable, until you add the last four names; Jill, Jacqueline, Chai, and Victoria. There are four women on this appointment list and that is remarkable, especially for this administration. That is 26% of the list if your not up on your fractions.
This administration’s high point for representation of women in cabinet positions has been 25% previously. 26% is not too shabby but it is far from perfect. We gained by 1% in how many days of this administration? Here’s to seeing more remarkable names in the future. *Optix crosses fingers but doesn’t hold breathe*
At least we can say this – he’s consistent! Consistently doing nothing to advance women or women’s issues!
Didnt like it when Pres Bush did it with Bolton, dont like it now. Presidents by passing the will of the elected Congress
