We’ve written extensively here about Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson and her bid to become governor of Texas.

Hat tip to Ann MacNaughton for letting us know:

No one in Texas worked harder for Hillary than my good friend Barbara Ann Radnofsky.

BAR_speech_flagsWell that certainly got our attention!

Barbara is running unopposed in the Texas Democratic primary on March 2 for attorney general.

You can read more on Barbara’s campaign website here. And some highlights courtesy of Ann’s ActBlue page

1. BEST QUALIFIED. Named among the “Best Lawyers in America” for the last 17 years, Radnofsky served at one of the top law firms in the state, Vinson & Elkins. She has been winning trials and mediating conflicts for 30 years. And, she is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.

2. WINNER. I have known Barbara Ann Radnofsky for nearly 20 years, since joining Vinson & Elkins from Mobil Oil’s legal department in the late 1980’s. The tide is turning in Texas.

3. AT STAKE: 4 NEW TEXAS SEATS IN U.S. CONGRESS. With Texas expected to gain 4 new Congressional seats after U.S Census results are reported, the direction of those 4 new seats interests the entire nation. As chief legal officer for Texas, Attorney General Abbott wrote opinions enabling Tom Delay to perform controversial mid-decade redistricting. We need an AG we can trust.

4. AT STAKE: SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT in TEXAS. Described as “bright, accomplished and driven” by The Dallas Morning News, Barbara Ann has plans to address numerous economic and other challenges to sustainable development in Texas, including as just a few examples • energy conservation • expanded use of renewable energy • environmental protection • transparency in governance • fiscal responsibility.

5. AT STAKE: MINORITY RIGHTS. Radnofsky understands disproportionate economic impacts, and is an effective negotiator on behalf of women and minorities. She was the first woman at VE to have children as an associate and attain partnership.

For those of you in the NYC area, you will have the chance to meet Barbara in mid-March.  She’ll be attending a Women’s Campaign Fund event on March 11.  Also, on March 12, if former President Clinton’s health permits, he’ll hosting an event supporting Barbara.

TNA is also asking our viewers in Texas to keep an eye and ear out for any sexism in the AG race.  We want Barbara to know that we have her back.

Barbara Ann Radnofsky -  YOU GO GIRL!

FOUR STAR Plus rating for Barbara Ann Radnofsky. Couldn’t ask for a better candidate — she will do a good job for Texans and for women.

Obama lacks political will to crack down on Wall street crooks. Be sure to read the comments.

Yes, but making women appear incapable of helping themselves is only half of it. It’s also talking about DECADES of Obama helping… o.O

I am appalled at that ad. Does Obama seriously think he can appeal to women by showing us we are not capable of helping ourselves??

Does anyone honestly believe Obama’s “Julia” story equals liberation for women? http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=51265

Strange, Romney’s Mormon family not polygamist BUT Obama’s father was polygamist. I didn’t realize!

If the Dems and Reps don’t start talking REAL women’s issues soon, I may have found my write in candidate!
