Here’s to Joan Walsh.

Baited by Ed Schultz, she holds the line. She calls out Game Change for what it is – a piece of misogynistic crap better suited for the fireplace as timber then for the bookshelves!

Thanks for putting this up. I have been apoplectic about the misogynist treatment of the women in this piece-of-trash book (NO—I haven’t read it!!!). It’s trash because I have watched with glee the authors get up hour after hour on the news shows and feel proud of the hatchet job they have done on Hillary, Sarah, Elizabeth Edwards, and Cindy McCain. They had the same look on their faces as my then 11 year-old-son had on his face when he told me he had found condoms in his 18-year-old brother’s room. I mean really!!!! What a steaming pile of crap.

These men thought it was cute reducing these women to the standard negative stereotypes. Guess they thought they had put those women in their place and that they deserved a medal for doing it. Must be members of Jon Favreau’s boys club!!!!!!!! argh

    Good for Joan Walsh.

Ed Schulz is an idiot. He has been ever since he went gaga for Obama in 2008.

    Amy and all,

Is there any kind of action The New Agenda and other women’s groups who have expressed their disgust with the misogyny that dominates this gossipy book could take, in a united front, for those women AND men who are tired of the same old slap down of women by dirt bags like the two jerks who wrote this crap?

This is what women enabled. It is OPEN SEASON, and we’re in the crosshairs.

They are shredding and shitting all over us because we’re women — but HEAVEN FORBID WE SHOULD SUPPORT A WOMAN BECAUSE SHE’S A WOMAN. And don’t we know that supporting someone is JUST AS BAD as subjecting them to a nonstop verbal gang-rape! Aren’t we just awful! They destroy and demolish us and we’re just as bad if we don’t let them! How dare we!

It was so amazing on 60 minutes. An 8 minute segment, 7 min devoted to trashing Palin and Clinton, almost nothing about Harry Reid’s comments, Bidens Gaffes and Obamas associations and his own gaffes and tantrums on the campaign trail.

Yes thanks for putting this up it is a great article and I would have missed it. Frankly MSNBC is the biggest “news” joke on the channel line up. They are blatantly sexist and I can’t believe they can still find women who will go on their shows. They make Fox news look sane.

Sadly, once again MEN are writing “history”. Is it any surprise that it paints women as villans? For thousands of years we’ve been marginalized, misrepresented, and villanized by men who claim to be the final word on all historical events. Doesn’t matter that its nothing but their own self-serving perspective on events, we’re stuck with their bullshit as the accepted version of all history.
Where are the books written by women?
