<description>My daughter and I love Blueberry Girl. She is just two so I don&#039;t think she understands the moving prayer for girls written by Gaiman but she loves the images of the mothers, grandmothers, old women and the girls through various ages. This is a book I imagine I will be able to read to her for years so it will be interesting to see how she grows with it. It has such a poignant and empowering message and what a nice change from the plethora of pink princesses out there.

Also, check out this audio/ video version at Gaiman&#039;s website. Beautiful!
