Media Spends the Weekend on Obama’s Boy Club

|Two weeks ago, The New Agenda’s Amy Siskind asked Is Obama Uncomfortable Around Women? at The Huffington Post.
Amy also spoke out last week on CNN about President Obama’s all male basketball game.
The media spent the weekend exploring whether there is a boy’s club at the White House:

And so on…
Finally, the White House responds by scheduling President Obama, for the first time since he took office, with a woman at a sporting event:

We need a woman in the White House!!!
But we haaaaave a woman in the White House! AND her fabulous shoes and toned arms! What, does that not count? Are you saying that being a wife and mother doesn’t maaaaaaatter? YOU’RE SEXIST!

There are many women who are asking the question, “What are those women whining about now? It’s just a basketball game. Get over it.” Obviously, these are women who have never had a position in a company that required them to be part of the decision making process. If they had, they would know how damaging it is to be left out of the socialization that takes place in the workplace. The question shouldn’t be whether Kathleen Sebelius could handle herself on the basketball court. It should be whether Obama should be holding impromtu meetings on a basketball court. The answer to the second question is “no, no, no. Absolutely not.”
Maybe the boyz are afraid Sebelius would kick their collective butts on the court! Whatever the reason, this is a prime example of just how far behind women still are in society.
Imagine what the MSM, pundits, politicians and the public would be saying if this had been Hillary as our president and playing with in an “all girls” basketball game?
I shudder to think what would be the response would be if women decided to have of an exclusive club like the men are allowed to have every dim, damn day.
