Great speech by Biden. Curious that the administration does not appear compelled to speak out against violence against women in Muslim countries. Obama just wants to make sure Muslim women everywhere feel free to where a habib if they want to. Give me a break!

What a beautifully clear, definite statement opposing violence against women. Kudos to Biden! How good to hear a vice president opposed to violence of all kinds.

The link beween men in prison for commiting violent crimes and being exposed to domestic violence as a child is interesting. How much research has been done on that link, I wonder?

OK, I guess that headline was a little obscure. It comes from Biden's statement, "Just get it up on the agenda. Get every secretary in the cabinet thinking about it."

Yes, the headline seems like you are mocking Biden although I know you are talking about the media. Excellent speech by Biden!

I know you don't mean to slur Mr. Biden, but that headline of yours needs a lot of help.

What I just read:

From 2000-2006, Rosenthal served as the Executive Director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence, where she represented 54 state and territorial coalitions whose collective membership included more than 2,000 local domestic violence programs.

She played a major advocacy role in the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act in 2000 and 2005 and has assisted states and local communities with its implementation.

I find this encouraging. Much better than what I have seen up to now from the Obama administration.
