  • There are 900,000 teen pregnancies annually (11-12% of all births in US).
  • 22% of teen girls have been sexting (sending out nude or semi nude photos of themselves)
  • 29% of single households led by women are below the poverty level (12% for
    men).
  • Women represent 52% of the voters yet are only 17% of our government representation.
  • The US ranks 29th in infant mortality rates.  We were 12th in 1960; we now tie with Slovakia and lag behind Cuba.
  • The US ranks 27th in the 2008 Global Gender Gap study of economic opportunity, education, political empowerment and health.  We lag Lativa, Lesotho, Mozambique, and Moldova.
  • 15 of Fortune 500 companies have females CEOs
  • Women have dropped from 17% of high management-level jobs in 2007 to
15% today;  this is the wrong direction.

This will come back to destroy them so fast it’s not even funny.

Try warning them, though. Just try, and see what happens. *sigh*

I am so close to not giving a crap anymore you have no idea. I am so close to not giving a goddamn about women who degrade themselves without even realizing that’s what they’re doing, because they think they can “make the system work for them.”

Newsflash, dumbshit: when the system is called patriarchy, it will never work for you. You can no more make it work in your favor than Jews can make Aryan Nation work in their favor. Only they aren’t STUPID ENOUGH TO THINK THEY CAN.

Many women cope with the patriarchal system by carving out their little niche and doing the best they can to make money and survive. That is what you see women who are in media doing, it is obviously what most women who go into advertising are doing. Basically they get by by becoming experts at kissing the hairy ass directly in front of them. They offer nothing new because they know, not only are new ideas not wanted but anyone offering one will be laughed off the corporate planet. The good news is these women are not committed to patriarchy they are only committed to going along with the dominant system. When feminists manage to brake through these women will follow with out a thought. Don’t lose hope Janis.

Remember all of these images above are thought up and put out to the world by people who consider themselves the elite and forward thinking liberal media types, they are educated. These images do not represent mainstream cultural values they are corporate media culture. Any magazines these are in you don’t have to buy. But the corporate media force TV channels and content into your homes regardless of the fact that you find it offensive. If you pay for cable you subsidize misogynist content. Consider downloading only the content you really want to watch for free at http://www.hulu.com. Cut the cord and stop subsidizing corporate media misogyny.

Janis and other feminists who feel down, I was thinking of you feeling down because of living in patriarchy. I was watching “Chocolat” last night, of course with interruptions from kids wandering around and in and out of the house. You should watch it, it could cheer you up. It is about a woman who is basically alone who travels to a new town and sets up a chocolate shop. She creates the chocolate she sells like women create life. She takes on the patriarchal, rigid power systems of Religion and Government which fail to serve the people of the town by providing a feminine contrast and of course she frightens the men who cling to these systems. Eventually she meets Johnny Depp who is not a misogynist but a man who is happy to have healthy malenees combined with healthy, strong femaleness to create a rich way of life. She is able to help some town women who are conforming to patriarchy because it is the dominant system and many men are also attracted to her alternative life view. Also the chocolate woman owns her sexuality, it is not defined by pornographic standards or fashion standards and is not owned by a husband or father. Does she prevail? Who knows, probably not, she clearly accomplishes all she can and makes a difference and lives a rewarding life. Most movies and their female characters suck but this one is uplifting. She didn’t change the system but she spent her energy offering an alternative rather than diluting herself so she fit in or wasting her time trying to correct the established world view of someone else. Of course I am not a traditional feminist.

We already did. THEY already did, the ones who came before. And today’s little nitwits turned their backs on it. They CHOOSE this garbage. They want to be this.

And then what was the response of the old guard? Backstabbing, buttkissing …

We’ve come a long way since Rebecca West could distinguish between feminists and doormats/bimbos as if they were different. Today, that’s what feminists are — half cringing asskisser, half pole-dancer.

Wow! There are some strong opinions on here and that is ok…here is mine…

Parents need to know what the kids are doing with the cell phone and the internet. You can level the field by installing software that can be found at http://www.mynetshepherd.com

Monitor computer useage and monitor smart phones (sorry if you dont have smart phones, it is almost impossible right now to monitor activity…its coming, I’m sure).

Get involved…schools, parents, companies…you all must know what goes on.
