Thank you to the New Agenda for the press release. Pres. Obama should choose a qualified woman to fill Justice Souter’s seat and any others he may have the opportunity to fill until the bench has a majority female representation. That’s only fair.

All of the other judicial appointments Pres. Obama has the opportunity to fill (Pres. Bush left more than 30 open) should also be filled by qualified women until women have equal representation on all benches in this nation.

We should continue to press for this equal representation with a loud and clear voice.

I agree that women’s groups have been silent on Miss California Carrie Prejean’s stance on marriage. Whether you agree with her or not should not be the issue, it’s imperative that she be supported in her right to voice her opinion.

Why is it that no feminist groups have defended Carrie Prejean, Miss California from all the horrible attacks she is enduring. On MSNBC a host who is gay called her a homophobe and suggested she used to be a self hating man who under went transgender surgery. Why is it that the feminist movementt is silent when there are such Palinizing from the left against women who don’t toe their line. Where is the tolerance they speak of
