Florida Lady,

It was meant in good fun. I'm actually Jewish. I also don't have cats; however, I DO consider chocolate to be a vegetable :-)

Amy - I do attend a church and salute this goal - at least checking one out. I might change the wording to house of worship - temples and such.
Maybe you assumed that we would see the word church as inclusive of various faiths other than Christian.
Not tryin' to bust your chops. I'm just sayin'...

Could The New Agenda find a way to get air time on a cable news station that would address women's issues as perhaps a weekly spot. Might Greta/Fox be open to that? Lifetime? Just a thought.

I refuse to cook, clean, organize, or exercise. My resolutions involve eating more chocolate and consuming more alcohol.

(Of equal importance - I would rate them all #1)
Stop hankering for material things that really don't matter and which don't improve the lives of others. Rather, pursue bettering those things that last - like my relationships with those that I love.

Do what is right, no matter what other people may think.

Give something to someone every single day - even if it is just a meaningful "have a wonderful day" or "thank you".

Save money. Put the credit card away and relearn what it is I can really afford to have - enjoy what I already do have more.

Don't be too quick to get rid of your vintage and collectibles, your first edition Margret Atwoods etc.

When you make work choices that do not support the patriarchy, and are paid accordingly, those items bought for a song and sold to complete someone's collection (and priced accordingly) can pay for dental work, medication your child needs, new eye glasses, and allow you to keep on with your principles.

Cleaning the attic, CHECK??? Damn you.

Well, I repainted the the entire kitchen. And am donating the STUFF I told people I don't NEED. My vintage things I am still angsting over, but they're not back in the kitchen, either, and will be part of my DECLUTTERING resolution.

OK, and I have two more days to make good on my writing resolution, which I've downgraded to one poem per week!!

1. Floss daily

2. Set up a high-yield savings account and make automatic payments on payday

3. Make time for mindfulness-- whether it's meditation at the end of the day, or turning off the ipod on the commute, or clearing your mind while you do the dishes
