Today The New Agenda turns 3 months old.

The New Agenda started with one simple goal:  to speak out for the millions of women in this country who often have no voice.

Join The New Agenda as we fight together for women’s rights and women’s issues. This is YOUR group. This is YOUR voice. This is OUR time.

In three short months together, look at all we have accomplished together:

  • The New Agenda is formed on August 11th, and it’s no longer just about Hillary
  • Playing hardball with Matthews on August 14th
  • Advancing our Platform to the Obama Campaign and the McCain Campaign
  • Clinton’s journey awakens a new feminist movement and welcome to the fourth wave of feminism
  • We speak out about using the term “shrill” demanding an apology from Sen. Reid and The Wall Street Journal
  • The New Agenda is the first women’s rights group to speak out against the sexism against Gov. Palin, which we do within 48 hours
  • Chris Matthews remains in our sights
  • We question NOW’s endorsement of the Obama/Biden ticket, but refuse to appear on MSNBC saying “Thanks, but no thanks.”
  • We organize actions to counter the sexism and misogyny aimed at Gov. Palin and we make a difference
  • We say “NO” to Larry Summers for Treasury Secretary, not once but twice
  • Oh, and we have one heck of a good time together each Monday night at 10 p.m. EST on Chewing the Fat with Ophelia

Please join us as we work together to on women’s rights and women’s issues. Get in on the ground floor of a movement that will change our country and empower the women who so deserve it!

the palin effigy came down, Nike responded over concerns re Terry Tate, a community college in Minn had to take some action over a vicious video that dehumaninzed women and brought their name into shame, NOW has been openly criticized by a number of women and seems to remain mired in a one dimensional philosophy/mission and should be by now slowly losing supporters, alot in just 3 months, clearly so

Obama lacks political will to crack down on Wall street crooks. Be sure to read the comments.

Yes, but making women appear incapable of helping themselves is only half of it. It’s also talking about DECADES of Obama helping… o.O

I am appalled at that ad. Does Obama seriously think he can appeal to women by showing us we are not capable of helping ourselves??

Does anyone honestly believe Obama’s “Julia” story equals liberation for women? http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=51265

Strange, Romney’s Mormon family not polygamist BUT Obama’s father was polygamist. I didn’t realize!

If the Dems and Reps don’t start talking REAL women’s issues soon, I may have found my write in candidate!
