We are very excited to see the thousands of new viewers hitting our website each day.   As the election is over, The New Agenda is truly taking off.

Since many of you are new, we would like to reiterate a few simple rules:

  • The New Agenda is inclusive organization – both in our membership and on our blog.
  • Please refain from profanity.
  • No comments that are degrading of individuals or groups based on race, religion, national origin, sexual preference and of course gender.
  • NO ATTACKS OF OTHER MEMBERS!!!  We can agree to disagree on issues; but keep the personal attacks off of our blog or you will be asked to leave

Please help us continue to foster an environment of kindness and mutual respect for all of our viewers.   The New Agenda must be a safe environment for all those who participate and none should ever feel attacked.  Our work together is too important to be at all impeded by hurt feelings or disrespect.

Thank you for your cooperation.

I appreciate and support these ground rules. Thanks, Amy. May I also suggest that although it is inevitable we will respectfully disagree on particular positions, that all who post here be supportive of the overall goals of this organization? To be a safe atmosphere, I’d personally like to feel we do not need to waste emotion and energy to justify to anyone our overall aims.

    thanks karen.

i don’t mind constructive criticism addressed to me and/or other founders. we are always willing to listen – and we do read comments to get a sense of what our members are thinking.

that being said, viewers should not be attacking other viewers on the premise of the new agenda

I would like to thank The New Agenda. I really appreciate all the post-election efforts to identify and speak out against sexism and misogyny . . . it is given me much peace of mind to know that we have The New Agenda working for women’s rights in this new wave of feminism.

I love your website design! It’s really great. And the content and the goals are just what we need. Who cares if I have the right to abortion if I’m disrespected and demeaned by democrats who say don’t put dumb Sarah in the same class as Hillary, but then tell me when I ask them that no, they didn’t vote for Hillary.

I have to say that I have been truly hurt and distraught by what I have seen done to these two leaders. When they throw a stone at them, I feel it.

We’ll make something good out of this, let’s just keep talking and coming back here and let’s organize.

    Love to you all!
