The New Agenda is speaking out about Larry Summers as a possible candidate for Treasury Secretary:

    Oh, wow, I was going to suggest Dr. Randall Forsberg but see that she died last year at age 64. How awful….does anyone know what she died of?

    She fought against nuclear proliferation her whole life, and she ran a write-in campaign against John Kerry.

    A while ago, I did a count on the wikipedia page for Bush’s and Clinton’s cabinet appointments during their presidencies. I forget the exact numbers, but Clinton appointed a record (though still piddling) number of women, and Bush exceeded what Clinton did.
