I think one can be ‘poor’ and vote Republican if one thinks the primary response to terrorism should be military and not jurisprudence, economics and diplomacy. One can vote Republican if she/he thinks gun owners should be strictly held accountable for their actions and there should be harsh consequences for all forms of illegal gun violence and useage, rather than not holding people accountable by banning gun ownership.
